The Kitchen and Bath Industry Show just wrapped up and there are some amazing products coming down the line. Today I want to bring my top five new products for you to incorporate into your next kitchen remodel.
Up first is LG’s Signature 48” French Door refrigerator. It’s the only French Door refrigerator that is 48” wide. This is really going to help you with party planning. Imagine being able to store more food in your actual kitchen. No more trips to the garage fridge to get food/drinks for your guest giving you more time to spend with family and friends.
This refrigerator not only produces craft ice for all your fancy cocktails, but it also tells you when there’s a potential problem. This is huge! We all know if somethings going to break it’s going to be at the worst possible time. Imagine knowing something was going to go wrong before it went wrong. You’ll be able to prevent possibly losing all your food.
It also connects to all your wifi devices and has a sleek metal interior that helps cut down on temperature fluctuations so your food is better preserved!
Next is metal shelving. The open shelf trend has been around for a minute, but now you can get not only gold, silver, or black metal shelves, you can also get them in other colors that blue and green. But Fittings Metal Collection didn’t stop there. They also make coordinating decorative metal pieces that can go at the end of a cabinet run, on furniture, or at the end of an island as a table. The possibilities are endless!
Finally in the kitchen, we have the Moen Touchless Faucet. This is another example of improving on what’s already out there. And I especially love it when technology makes my life easier.
Everyone knows about touchless faucets, but now you can not only tell the faucet how much water to pour out but you can also tell it what temperature the water needs to be. This little powerhouse can be controlled by a wave of the hand, your voice, or by your smart device. This is going to make cooking/baking easier.
My favorite two products in bathroom design also make your life easier. First up is the Airmada shower drying system. Say goodbye to the squeegee and mold problems! The Airmada features:
I personally hate having to clean my shower glass door everyday (even though I do it to prevent build up) but there's nothing worse than having to ask guest clean the shower when they're done or having to remember to go in and clean up after them. The Airmada take that job off of your plate so you can spend more time enjoying life.
Next up is the RainStick shower. The RainStick shower “ starts with fresh grid-supplied water. Except, instead of going down the drain, RainStick captures, circulates, and cleans the water, all in real-time to avoid waste.”
This wifi enabled shower saves 80% water and 80% energy every time you use it. It does all this while doubling the flow of water. So if you like to take a long, hot shower after a long day then you need this in your life.
So there you have it. My top five design trends for 2022. Most of these will improve your quality of life which is always an added bonus!
