I realize that it's February and cold outside but I just had to show you this pool house we finished recently! It was such a fun project for me personally because we got to use some fun colors in the kitchen-and I can't wait to show you the shower design. It's my favorite one to date!
The whole point of this pool house was to have a place where family and friends could gather and have fun. When designing this space, we knew we wanted to match the vibe and just have fun with it! The perimeter cabinet color in here is SW Waterloo. I loved that it looked like pool water. Then of course the blue veining in the countertop was a perfect match.
On the island, we chose to do a strip of butcher block countertop for easy prep work!
And of course we still added all of usual custom details like a pot filler, garbage pull outs, spice rack, and my personal favorite this custom wine rack.
The bathroom in the pool house had to equally match the fun vibe! I wanted it to feel like there was water running down the walls-like a waterfall. So I picked out these different color hexagon tiles and me and the tile guy (Thank you Paul!) laid the pattern out on the floor before he installed it. I just love the way it turned out!
We also added these bifold doors which allow the outside in and make it a great party space.
Of course we had to give the main house a little love by repaint the outside.
Now they are ready for warmer weather. laissez le bon temps rouler!
